Another Acquisition: Cessna Citation II (C-FKEB) Now in the Hands of Our Client.
When one of our clients came to us looking for a dependable, well-equipped twin-engine jet, we knew exactly where to look. Among their key requirements was a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 cockpit, a non-negotiable for the level of navigation and situational awareness they wanted going forward. We’re pleased to share that we’ve successfully closed on a 1991 Cessna Citation II, registration C-FKEB, sourced and purchased in Canada, and a fitting addition to their fleet that we’re proud to have guided from start to finish.
The Citation II has long held a reputation as one of the most dependable light jets in its class, and this example is no exception. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney JT15D-4 engines, the aircraft offers the proven performance and operating economics that have made this platform a favourite among operators for decades. Meeting our client’s Pro Line 21 requirement, the cockpit delivers contemporary navigation and situational awareness on a proven airframe, while new windshields and de-ice boots ensure the aircraft is ready for confident, all-condition operation regardless of the season.
Because the aircraft was located in Canada, we carried out a thorough pre-buy inspection on-site before proceeding, giving our client full visibility into the aircraft’s technical condition before committing to the purchase. Inside, the cabin was refreshed in 2016 and comfortably seats up to seven passengers, with a forward galley and onboard air conditioning rounding out an interior designed with both crew and passenger comfort in mind.
It’s exactly this combination, a solid technical history, the specific avionics our client required, and a pre-purchase inspection carried out on the ground where the aircraft was based, that gives our clients full confidence in a transaction like this. From the initial search and shortlisting, through the pre-buy inspection in Canada, to negotiation and final closing, our team managed every stage so our client could move forward with complete confidence in their investment.
This acquisition is another example of what we do best: understanding a client’s requirements in detail, wherever the right aircraft happens to be, and turning them into a successfully closed deal. If you’re considering the purchase of your next aircraft and would value a team that handles the process from first search to final signature, we’d be glad to hear from you at sales@faaircraftsales.com
