La plupart des avions \u00e0 turbopropulseurs que nous vendons sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&#8217;un moteur Pratt &amp; Whitney PT6A. Une chose que les acheteurs ignorent le plus souvent, c&#8217;est qu&#8217;une inspection de la section chaude (HSI) sur un moteur PT6A, lorsque vous disposez d&#8217;un syst\u00e8me de surveillance de l&#8217;\u00e9tat du moteur, est conforme \u00e0 la condition.&nbsp;Avec un TBO de 4000 heures, la HSI est pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 2000 heures. Bien qu&#8217;un HSI sur un moteur PT6A de motomarine soit un travail relativement simple, qui peut \u00eatre effectu\u00e9 sur l&#8217;aile, vous n&#8217;obtenez qu&#8217;une indication de l&#8217;\u00e9tat du moteur \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon le bulletin de service de Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada (B.S. no 1403 de P&amp;WC), la fr\u00e9quence de l&#8217;HSI peut \u00eatre bas\u00e9e sur la surveillance des tendances de l&#8217;\u00e9tat du moteur (ECTM).&nbsp;En bref, cela signifie que si vous n&#8217;avez pas de syst\u00e8me ECTM \u00e0 bord, vous devez effectuer un HSI \u00e0 2000 heures. Lorsque vous disposez d&#8217;un syst\u00e8me ECTM (Engine Condition Trend Monitoring), celui-ci surveille en permanence l&#8217;\u00e9tat du moteur et enregistre tout.&nbsp;Du d\u00e9marrage \u00e0 l&#8217;arr\u00eat du moteur, tous les param\u00e8tres seront enregistr\u00e9s. D\u00e8s qu&#8217;il y a un d\u00e9passement, il l&#8217;enregistre et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui surveille ces donn\u00e9es envoie un message au propri\u00e9taire de ce d\u00e9passement. Une fois qu&#8217;un d\u00e9passement a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9, il sera temps d&#8217;inspecter le moteur et d&#8217;en rechercher la cause. Et lorsque vous constatez une d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration des performances, vous pouvez \u00e9galement d\u00e9cider d&#8217;effectuer un HSI. Nous pouvons facilement dire qu&#8217;un moteur qui est surveill\u00e9 par un syst\u00e8me ECTM, donne plus de confiance \u00e0 un acheteur qu&#8217;un moteur qui est seulement sur un sch\u00e9ma HSI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plusieurs propri\u00e9taires d&#8217;avions nous demandent \u00e9galement comment ils peuvent r\u00e9duire le co\u00fbt de r\u00e9vision de leur moteur.
